‘Speed Racer’ actor Christian Oliver and his daughter die in plane crash

“Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft encountered trouble and crashed into the sea,” investigators said.
The actor, real name Christian Klepser (51), was killed along with his two daughters Madita (10) and Annik (12).
Owner and pilot (American Robert Sachs) were also killed.
Local divers and fishermen from Paget Farm on the small island of Bequia attended the incident to provide assistance, according to a statement from the Royal SVG Police.
SVG Coast Guard also intervened and rescued the four victims “by plane/sea”.
They are in St. Petersburg, where the autopsy will be completed in the coming days. They flew to Vincent.
Klepser’s representatives said in their statement, “Our thoughts and prayers are with her, her two daughters and her family.”
The cause of the accident has not been determined yet.
The Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority told the BBC’s US partner CBS News that “information is currently being collected to assist with the investigation.”
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it was providing “all necessary national assistance” to the victims’ families.
Klepser also starred in Steven Soderbergh’s film Good German and for two seasons on the German series Alarm for Cobra 11 Detective.
He also appeared in the Netflix series Sense8 and has voiced in various video games.
